A wedding speech that sounds like you, not like a template.
Tell us about the couple and the stories only you know. We shape them into a toast that is funny, sincere and the right length, following UK or US conventions, with delivery notes and cue cards.
What a good wedding speech needs
- One story told well, not five summarised: we pick the one that shows who they are.
- The turn: the moment the jokes give way to something true about the couple.
- A clean toast that names who to raise a glass to.
- UK and US running orders, same-sex couples, blended families and remembering someone who has died.
- Nothing about exes, the stag or hen do, or anything that would make a grandparent wince.
In the summer of 2014, four of us drove from Columbus to Omaha. Ben made a binder. Not a list. A binder, with tabs. One said "Snacks (Approved)." At the very back was a tab that said "Contingencies." We mocked that binder across three states.
Then, outside Lincoln, Nebraska, around eleven at night, we blew a tire. No cell service. No spare. And Ben, without a word, opened the binder to Contingencies, flipped to page three, and there it was. The address of a 24-hour tire shop, with a handwritten note that said "Ask for Darryl." Nobody has made fun of the binder since.

Best man, maid of honor and a parent all speaking?
One order for 3 speakers at the same wedding, for example the best man, the maid of honor and a parent. You fill in your speech now; each speaker adds their own details later through their own link, and the speeches are coordinated so no story or joke is told twice.
$69 for 3 coordinated speeches, instead of $29 each. Every speech has its own 10 revisions. On the form, choose the occasion and then “Wedding party pack: 3 speeches for $69”.
Questions
How long should a wedding speech be?
Three to five minutes for most speakers, about 400 to 650 spoken words. The best man and the father of the bride can stretch to six or seven; anything longer loses the room before the toast. Choose the length on the form and the speech is timed to it.
Who speaks first at a wedding?
In the UK, traditionally the father of the bride (or the host), then the groom, then the best man. In the US, a parent or host often welcomes everyone, then the maid of honor and the best man give toasts. Tell us which you follow, or choose English (UK) and we use the British order and spelling.
Can it include a few words for someone who has passed away?
Yes. Add them under "Anything that must be in it?" and we write a short, warm mention in the right place, usually before the toast, so the speech does not lose its lift.
Can the speech be in two languages?
Yes. Choose a second language and we weave in a greeting or part of the toast for the other side of the family.
