Your stories, shaped for the room
A blank page and a free chatbot get you a greeting card. A good speech needs one story told well, a moment where it turns sincere, and an ending that brings everyone to their feet. That is what we build, from what you tell us.
- Built only from your stories: our writer is told never to make up anecdotes.
- Timed to the length you choose, at a natural speaking pace.
- Delivery notes: where to pause, how to handle the toast, how to say tricky names.
- Written to leave out exes, embarrassing stories and jokes that could sting.
- The conventions of every occasion: UK and US wedding running orders, eulogies, retirements, family celebrations and work events, with blended families, same-sex couples and loved ones who have died in mind.
- Printable cue cards, a large-print version and a read-aloud mode to rehearse.
Outside Lincoln, Nebraska, around eleven at night, we blew a tire. No cell service. No spare. And Ben, without a word, opened his binder to the tab marked "Contingencies". Nobody has made fun of the binder since.
Dad took a whole day off, which he never did, and ran beside me up and down Elm Street until it was dark. He never let go of the seat until I asked him to. He has been doing that for me ever since.
Linda answered the phone on the first ring for thirty-one years. She remembered the names of customers’ dogs. And when the system went down on Black Friday, it was Linda who taught us all to take orders on paper.

Several people speaking at the same event?
A group pack is one order for 3 speeches by different people, written so they fit together: each speaker gets their own link, adds their own stories, and their speech is coordinated with the others so nothing is told twice and everyone has their place in the running order.

Questions
Is the speech really written about my person?
Yes. Everything is built from what you tell us: your stories, names, inside details and the tone you choose. Our writer is instructed never to make up anecdotes; it only adds connecting lines and jokes about what you shared. Read it through and check names and details before you speak. The more specific your answers, the better the speech.
Is this written by AI?
Yes. Wellspeech uses Claude, an AI model by Anthropic, guided by a speechwriting brief we built for real rooms: spoken rhythm, timing, conventions and what not to say. You get a free preview before paying, and you are free to edit every word.
How long does it take?
The full speech usually appears within a minute of payment, written live on your screen. Revisions take about the same.
What if I want changes?
Every order includes 10 revisions. Ask for anything: funnier, shorter, gentler, more about the family, less about the office. You can switch between versions at any time.
Can it be in another language, or two languages?
Yes. Choose from 12 languages, including British and American English. You can also add a second language, which is lovely for bilingual families: a greeting or part of the toast in the other language.
What if I am not happy?
Use the withdrawal form within 14 days of your order and we refund you in full. It applies once per customer (the same email address or card), the request must reach us before the event date you gave on the order form, and we ask you to tell us briefly what was not right. Other requests within the 14 days are reviewed by a person and answered by email.
What happens to my answers?
They are used to write your speech and stored with your order at our payment provider so your link keeps working. The latest version of your speech is stored there too, so you can reopen it on any device. We do not sell them or use them for anything else. See the privacy policy.
